* For old-type handsets (e.g. Nokia 3310) port 9201 is used, and for new ones (e.g. Nokia 6230i, Samsung D500 etc.) port 8080.

For some handset models a profile activation PIN code is sent. Depending on the handset manufacturer, this PIN code has to be entered when saving received settings, activating them or connecting to the Internet.

For some handset models only downloading settings is not enough as they must be selected additionally from the settings menu. Please find more info about that in your phone’s manual.

To cancel the mobile Internet service send an SMS with keyword NEMI (without spaces, in capitals) to number 1558. The service will be deactivated in 24 hours, and we'll inform you additionally by an SMS. Deactivation of the service by SMS is available only to private post-paid customers.

Note: We don‘t recommend sending files larger than 5MB over mobile Internet in the conventional way and we don't guarantee that such files will be received. For downloading larger files we recommend using software designed for downloading of files.

To access the Internet from your computer, first you need to connect your mobile phone to the computer. There are three modes for connecting:
  • Infrared Data Association (IrDA). Both the computer and the phone must have an IrDA connector. There must be no barriers between devices in the operating zone.
  • data transmission cable. The data cable may come together with the mobile phone. If it doesn‘t, it‘s available from stores which sell computers and their accessories. Required software for installing the data cable may come together with the mobile phone. If it doesn‘t, you can download it from the phone manufacturer’s official website.
  • technology of wireless data exchange between devices Bluetooth. The operating zone is up to 10m. Both the computer and the phone must have a Bluetooth connector.
To connect you have to enter TELE2 Mobile Internet settings on your phone. If you can browse WAP sites on your phone, it means that required settings have been entered correctly and your phone can be connected to the computer. For Nokia phones data connection should be set separately. The normal path is as follows:
Meniu >> Ryšiai >> GPRS >> GPRS modemo nustatymas.
GPRS access point must be “internet.tele2.lt“.
You don‘t have to set other phone models separately.
Connecting computer and phone
  • Infrared rays – activate the IR function on your phone. Place the phone‘s IR connector in parallel with the IR connector.
  • Data transmission cable. For the computer and the phone to connect you have to install respective software (driver) on your computer. Your computer must have an USB or COM connector. Connect one end of the cable to the phone connector and the other to the respective computer connector (COM or USB). After installing software on the computer (Control Panel -> Phone and Modem Options -> Modems), a new model appears. It must be used when accessing the Internet.
  • Bluetooth – the connection principle is similar to IrDA. Activate the Bluetooth function both on your phone and on the computer.
